Facebook, Facebook Messenger, and Facebook Connect

• MyLuxuryChauffeur uses services provided by the social network Facebook, operated by Meta Platforms Inc., located at 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Facebook”). • You can contact and exchange messages with MyLuxuryChauffeur via Facebook Messenger.
• We also offer the option to log into your MyLuxuryChauffeur account using Facebook Connect. If you choose this option, you will be redirected to a Facebook page where you can log in using your Facebook credentials. When you use Facebook Connect, certain personal data will be shared by Facebook with MyLuxuryChauffeur. Facebook will inform you about the data being transferred and the purposes for which it will be used, and you can grant or deny explicit consent for this data transfer. MyLuxuryChauffeur will only receive your personal data from Facebook if you provide your consent. Facebook can also determine that you have logged in via Facebook Connect and when you did so. MyLuxuryChauffeur uses this data to identify you.

By actively choosing to log in via Facebook, you consent to MyLuxuryChauffeur processing the data transmitted by Facebook to personalize your account. This consent can be revoked at any time without additional cost and will apply going forward.

You can also choose to adjust your use of Facebook Connect at any time and log in to your MyLuxuryChauffeur account using an alternative method.

Where you have consented, MyLuxuryChauffeur may use Facebook Custom Audiences to display targeted advertising via Facebook. This involves syncing contact data stored in our CRM system (Braze) with Facebook. The data is compared with Facebook’s existing user lists, and matches are added to MyLuxuryChauffeur’s Custom Audience. Facebook does not collect any new personal data during this process.

Data Processing During Registered Use of MyLuxuryChauffeur Services and Booking Rides

MyLuxuryChauffeur processes the following personal data provided by you when you register for and use MyLuxuryChauffeur Services or book rides (referred to as “customer data”):

Personal Master Data: Including form of address, title, first name, last name, company, address, postal code, city, country, and password.

Contact Data: Such as telephone number, mobile number, and email address.Contract Data: Details about the time and method of registration, status.

Ride-Related Data: Information such as pickup location, destination, times, flight number, and special requests.

Status Data: For example, participation in bonus programs and customer history, including previous rides.

Contract Invoicing and Payment Data: Includes invoices, invoice status, billing address, and the last four digits of your credit card number.

This customer data is used to facilitate the personalized fulfillment of services, including the creation, management, and support of your MyLuxuryChauffeur account, processing of booked rides, and fulfilling the contract with the limousine service provider. We may share your data with third parties, particularly with limousine service providers to ensure proper transportation and with bonus program providers if applicable. Payment data is managed through a certified payment provider who adheres to security standards (see Section 10).

Personal data may be transferred to limousine service providers in countries outside the European Union or European Economic Area, where the transport is intended to occur. While we cannot always guarantee the data protection level in these third-party countries, such transfers are necessary for fulfilling the contract (Art. 49 Paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR) or for entering into or performing a contract in your interest (Art. 49 Paragraph 1 lit. c GDPR).

Customers can rate their rides through MyLuxuryChauffeur, and these ratings are stored in their profiles. Ratings are communicated in anonymized form to the relevant driving service or provider and are visible only to the customer who provided them. Ratings are generally retained for up to 2 years before being deleted or anonymized. The processing of ratings helps in managing trips, improving service quality, and preventing misuse.

The legal basis for processing personal data during registered use and booking is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR (contract performance). Additional, voluntary information (such as flight numbers or ratings) is processed based on your consent (Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR) and our legitimate interests (Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR).

Additionally, MyLuxuryChauffeur uses customer data for analyzing service usage, improving services, advertising, and detecting and resolving technical or process-related issues. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

Payment & Fraud Prevention

Payment

• All MyLuxuryChauffeur bookings can be paid using credit or debit cards. Card information is securely stored with our certified payment provider, which adheres to the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). For recurring transactions, the card data is stored with our PCI DSS-certified payment provider. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR (contract performance).
• MyLuxuryChauffeur itself does not store full credit card data, only truncated versions for fraud prevention or analytical purposes. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

• In addition to card payments, you can pay via PayPal through our mobile apps (Android/iOS).
